Tez Indexer is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and password when you register. We also collect usage data including submitted URLs, submission timestamps, and credit transaction history.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to provide and improve the Tez Indexer service — to process URL submissions, manage your credit balance, send service-related emails, and provide customer support. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on MongoDB Atlas cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. We implement industry-standard security practices.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data with third-party services only as necessary to operate the platform (e.g., our indexing service for URL submissions, MongoDB Atlas for database hosting).
5. Submitted URLs
URLs you submit are processed by Tez Indexer and sent to Google's indexing systems. By submitting a URL, you consent to this transmission. Tez Indexer stores submission records in your account history.
6. Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication (via NextAuth.js). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from logging in.
7. Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support. URL submission history is retained for 12 months.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may update your profile information from your account settings. For data deletion requests, contact our support team.
